An addictive Falun Gong practitioner named Fu
Yibin cruelly killed his father and wife on November 25 in
his parents' home in Beijing, Xinhua News Agency reported on
Sunday.
Fu's mother was also sent to hospital
after she was badly injured by her 46-year-old son, who has
been mentally disturbed since he began practising the Falun
Gong in January 1998.
Xinhua said the
police rushed into the home of Fu's parents in the Xicheng
District of the city in the afternoon of November 25 to find
two people lying on the ground and one person leaning
against the wall. Fu's father and his wife were found dead
and his mother was found groaning on the ground.
Police broke into the inside room and
found a bloodsoaked Fu sitting on a sofa, with a
blood-covered kitchen knife near his feet.
When asked, "Who committed the
murders?" Fu answered directly and calmly: "I
did." The mother later confirmed on the way to a local
hospital that her son was the murderer.
When asked the reason for the murders,
Fu told police it was time for his parents and wife to go
"where they need to go."
During questioning by police, Fu
explained that the bodies of his parents and wife, similar
to those of dogs and cats, had already deteriorated
according to the Falun Gong theory.
Therefore, Fu wanted his family members
to "jump out of their bodies" to enjoy
"absolute happiness" with him. Fu said he was
"very filial" in his relationship with his parents
and "deeply in love" with his wife.
