Residents and tourists of Ziyuan county enjoyed the marvelous scene of more than 10,000 lanterns flowing over Zijiang River Saturday night in north Guilin, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, September 1, 2001. To flow lanterns on Zijiang River is a local traditional festival that falls on the 14th of July according to Chinese lunar calendar.
