Q: It is reported that the P5 plus one, the EU and Iran will hold a dialogue meeting in Baghdad on May 23. Will China attend? What does China expect of the meeting? A: The P5 plus one, the EU and Iran will hold a new round of dialogue meeting in Baghdad on May 23. Assistant Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu will lead a delegation to the meeting. China always holds that dialogue and negotiation is the only right and effective means to properly deal with the Iranian nuclear issue. Currently, dialogue and cooperation on the Iranian nuclear issue has shown positive momentum. We hope all parties will seize the opportunity, continue with their dialogue in a sincere manner, properly handle disputes, push for progress out of the Baghdad dialogue meeting and keep the dialogue and negotiation process going in order to seek a comprehensive, long-term and proper resolution of the Iranian nuclear issue. China is always committed to promoting peace talks.
